Pilots for Christ, which is based in Monroeville, is a charitable organization that seeks to glorify God by providing free personal air transportation for ambulatory patients in need of medical attention who are unable to afford air transportation and/or they are physically unable to travel by any other means.
Pilots for Christ is on track to complete 836 flights in 2025, and they’ve got a number of other big goals on tap for this year. The organization hopes to purchase new propellers for its King Air jet, which is an investment that will help ensure the safety and reliability of future flights. Pilots for Christ also hopes to update its C90A jet to a King Air 200, which will increase the capacity to serve more patients and fly longer distances.
The organization also plans to establish a hospitality house in Houston, which will provide a haven for patients and their families during their medical journeys. Pilots for Christ also plans to establish a new facility in Baldwin County to accommodate the growing needs of that community and to acquire a new King Air 200 jet for Baldwin County, which would enhance their ability to serve more patients.
