Monroeville, Ala. (April 24, 2025) – Twenty-four years ago, Pilots for Christ provided hope and support to David Landis and his family by flying their two-year-old daughter to Miami Children’s Hospital for critical neurological testing. Inspired by this life-changing experience, Landis and his team at Landis Design Company recently completed a custom-designed boat wrap featuring sponsor logos and prominently showcasing the Pilots for Christ logo on a boat owned by local supporter Brad Trotter.

Trotter, whose father-in-law was also profoundly impacted by the generosity of Pilots for Christ, joined with a group of generous local business sponsors to highlight the ministry’s Day of Giving event. The vibrant wrap serves not only as a moving testimony of gratitude but also as a visual reminder of the vital mission that Pilots for Christ fulfills for countless families during challenging times.
Day of Giving sponsors also included Schutz Insurance, South Alabama Gas, South Alabama Kubota & Rental, Monroe Sausage and Walt Massey.
“My prayer is that this wrap project will reap a harvest of support for this incredibly special ministry,” Landis said. “Pilots for Christ was there for our family during a critical moment, and I hope this project inspires others to join in supporting their continued efforts.”
